Arn Kind – Soldiers of the American Revolution

September 23 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm
FREE

Join us at the Cambridge Public Library as Arn Kind presents his program Soldiers of the American Revolution, with a multi-media interactive presentation.

The AMERICAN REVOLUTION was America’s first civil war.  It would split the country between Loyalists (those who wanted to stay loyal to the king) and Patriots (those who wanted to separate from Great Britain to become an independent nation). How could we, as a people, go from being proud members of the British empire- the greatest in the world-to wanting our independence from the mother country, in the span of just ten years?
Through drama, role-playing and living history experiences, Mr. Kind’s multi-media presentation will give participants an understanding of this turbulent time and make history come alive for everyone.

Pre-registration is required for this event, as space is limited. Please make sure to register each person in your group individually. Walk-ins will be welcome as space allows.

This program is funded with money from Minnesota’s Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund.

*Please note that the library proper closes at 6:00pm.  You will only be able to enter and exit through our Dellwood Street (east side) doors.  We have sidewalks that go around the south side of the building to the Dellwood Street entrance if you park on the Fern Street side.
