Well Water Testing

With the financial support of MN Dept of Health, Kanabec County Community Health is working to keep your drinking water safe. This unique program promotes well-water testing for eligible homes who rely on a private well as their primary drinking source.

Program Details

  • Testing for arsenic, coliform bacteria, lead, manganese, and nitrate.
  • May provide financial assistance for eligible households deemed to have water quality issues.
  • The private well must be the household’s main source of drinking water.
  • No Well testing done in last 2 years.

Eligiblity

Priorities will be given to households with:

  • Children under the age of 1
  • Pregnant women
  • Residents age 65+
  • Low Income Households
  • Veterans
